Deep Render has recently raised its Series A funding round from top-tier investors and is looking to double/triple its current 20-person team. We’re in commercial engagements with some of the largest Big Tech companies in the world and expect hundreds of millions of people to use the Deep Render AI Codec by 2024.


We're looking for a Patent Attorney to join our IP team to assist with our growing patent portfolio. You’ll work closely with our exceptionally talented tech teams to protect our innovations in AI-Compression as well as providing day to day advice on IP matters. You’ll also have the opportunity to advise and influence our IP strategy as Deep Render grows following our recent funding raise. 

Working at Deep Render will heavily involve you in cutting-edge AI development at the most early stage.



  • Working with our tech teams to identify innovations for patent protection
  • Drafting and filing initial applications for our innovations
  • Prosecution of our patent portfolio across the world, with a particular focus in the US
  • Management of outside counsel across the world (US, IN, JP, KR, CN)
  • General IP advice


  • Part/recently qualified UK or European patent attorney with a Computer Science, Physics or Engineering background
  • Substantial experience of drafting and prosecution of computer-implemented inventions
  • Some experience of US patent prosecution
  • A keen interest in and passion for technology, Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning
  • A desire to work in a growing deep tech startup


  • A PhD degree in Physics or Computer Science
  • Significant experience of US patent prosecution
  • Experience of drafting and prosecution of machine learning/AI inventions
