Alex holds a physics degree from UCL and a computing masters from Imperial College London, after which he worked for two years at one of the largest telcos in Hong Kong. Alex enjoys playing the piano and can play all the classics from memory. If you leave Alex on your machine unattended, he will install Tmux.
Arsalan holds a degree in spacecraft engineering from Southampton University and an MSc in computer science from Imperial College London. Arsalan enjoys walking, and has completed the 100 mile national south-downs trail. In his free time, Arsalan preaches veganism.

Ciro holds an electronic engineering degree from Manchester University and a machine learning masters from Imperial College London working on semantic scene understanding at the Dyson Robotics Lab. Ciro is an avid gamer and thinks the CIFAR-10 data was actually generated by a GAN.
Jan holds an engineering degree from Imperial College London and a computing masters from UC Berkeley, specialising in visual odometry. Jan is part of an a capella group and sings when programming. We now offer noise-cancelling headphones for all team members.
Shi holds a post-doc research position at Imperial College London. During his PhD, he focused on facial biometric detection and spatio-temporal textures. Pan shi loves to play video games in his free time and is often seen practising ancient Chinese martial art-based exercises on the streets of West London.
Chris is an applied mathematician by training and a machine learning convert. During his PhD at McGill University, he studied numerical methods for nonlinear elliptic PDEs. Afterwards, he did a postdoc in ML focusing on density estimation, and adversarial robustness. Chris is an avid bird watcher; in his free time, he’s often found chasing rare warblers about town.
Tom holds a BSc in Mathematics from Northumbria, and recently submitted his PhD thesis “Variational Inference for Stochastic Processes” at Newcastle University. In his spare time, he gets excited by the often uncomplimentary fields of bodybuilding and longevity strategies.
